The position has a comparable salary to a tenure-track professor at the nearby University of British Columbia and so is competitive for the Vancouver area. Further, as it is meant to support broad research efforts across nuclear and particle physics at TRIUMF, it includes the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with research staff, postdocs, and students.
