Hola, comparto oferta de posdoc por dos años suerte Rolo The T-2 group (Nuclear and Particle Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology) in the Theoretical Division at Los Alamos National Laboratory invites applications for two-year postdoctoral positions in Nuclear Theory to begin in Fall 2027. Candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. in nuclear theory or a closely related field by the beginning of the postdoctoral appointment (but no earlier than December 2021 per LANL policy).   We conduct research on a broad set of topics, including effective theories of strong and weak interactions, heavy-ion physics and physics of the quark-gluon plasma, low-energy phenomenology within and beyond the Standard Model, neutrino physics and astrophysics, nuclear astrophysics, nuclear structure, perturbative QCD, and quantum few- and many-body systems, and quantum computing. The fellow will be hosted by the partner institution, Argonne National Laboratory. The successful candidate will conduct independent and/or collaborative research on theoretical nuclear structure, reactions, astrophysics, and/or fundamental symmetries relevant to the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB). The FRIB Theory Alliance is a consortium of universities and national laboratories actively engaged in theoretical research in FRIB science. FRIB is a national user facility for nuclear science, funded by the DOE Office of Science and operated by Michigan State University.   The FRIB Theory Fellow is a one-year appointment with the possibility of annual renewal for a maximum of five years. We had a great experience last year, thanks to all of you who participated. We want to repeat it this year and make it even better.
