Conference Announcement: 8th International Conference on Collective Motion in Nuclei under Extreme Conditions (COMEX8) - 2025 December 15-19 - Florida State University in Tallahassee (Florida, USA) - Call for Abstracts open

 

Dear colleague,

 

The call for abstracts for the COMEX8 conference to be held at Florida State University from December 15 to December 19, 2025 has opened. The submission deadline is August 29, 2025. We will review abstract submissions for oral and poster contributions.

We accept contributions on the following topics:

·         Giant resonances in cold and hot nuclei

·         Collective and new excitation modes in nuclei

·         Spin and isospin modes

·         Clustering and pairing effects in excitations

·         Studies of the decay of highly excited states

·         Collective excitation and the nuclear equation of state

·         Applications in nuclear astrophysics

·         Novel instrumentation and methods
