This is a call to submit applications to present a seminar in the Rising Researchers Seminar Series (R2S2), website here, and flyer attached.

 

The series aims to create visibility for young researchers (PhD students in their last two years or postdocs within three years of graduating) working in nuclear theory in one or more of the following broadly defined categories: 

• Cold QCD
• Hot QCD
• Nuclear structure and reactions
• Nuclear astrophysics
• Neutrinos and fundamental symmetries
• Machine learning and quantum computing 

Speakers are selected from a competitive pool of applicants by a diverse committee in a blinded process.

 

Successful applicants will be invited to present an online 50+10 min. seminar during the following quarter.  Slides, video recording and personal profile will be featured on our website for one year.  

 

The series is advertised to a large mailing list [click here to join] which includes major laboratories, institutions, and collaborations in the United States.
